Where: 12D, Shikamaru's room
Summary: Kakashi runs to check on his comrade and see for himself if he truly was terminated. Tsunade has the same idea, only now she can check up on Kakashi's failing health at the same time.
Rating: PG-13 just to be safe.
Warnings: Blood, Kakashi being sick and stubborn, Tsunade being even more stubborn.
Shikamaru... Of course it was Shikamaru that had gotten the most votes. With the way he'd been acting all week, it shouldn't have been a surprise.
That didn't stop Kakashi from being worried, from hoping that it would all be a trick from the Consortium, a test to see who would crack under the pressure.
It wasn't a trick. That became clear the moment he stepped into Shikamaru's room. There was blood all over the floor, a very strange sight right after the reset. He leaned against a wall, trying to catch his breath; that run had taken far too much out of him, but there was no way he was sick. He didn't have the time to be sick, especially not when Shikamaru was gone.
Still, he was glad that Tsunade would be back to normal. Holding everything together by himself was getting harder every day.
