Aoko winced as she entered the cafeteria. Not often did she come here for food and nearly go deaf because the newest resident was loud and annoying and didn't like the food. She offered a hard glare which may have been either cute or maybe, if the maternity clothes helped at all, maybe a little intimidating.

"Most people eat them because they're the only damn thing we're given, usually." She snapped angrily. Even though she was stuck in maternity clothes, it was rather obvious that this girl was kind of small.

Watanuki started shouting before he even turned around to see who it was--usually his downfall in most cases.

"PROTEST!!! UNION!!!! HOW CAN ANYONE STAND FOR THIS?!! WHAT THE HELL IS IT EVEN MADE OF, PEOPLE SHOULD--" And then he turned around.

"Ah." It was a girl. And immediately, the pleas for forgiveness began, arms flailing as he stood in his maid uniform.

"Ah-um, s-sorry, I-I didn't mean to..." Shout at you. Well. Damn.

Aoko let out a sigh and shook her head at his... flailing. If it wasn't for the fact her childhood friend was running around this place in schoolgirl's uniform when he knew perfectly well that he was a boy she may have raised an eyebrow at the maid's outfit, as it was she was accustomed to things like cross dressing.

"It-it's okay, really." She put her hands up to show she meant no harm. "but, even if we did rebel they'd just let us all starve. It's that or nothing." She pointed at the food bars.

Watanuki looked tot he food bars with distaste, the other subjects going up and snagging them one by one. Disgusting! How could ANYONE choose that over STARVING?! There had to be SOME other way.

"What IS this ANYWAY?" He asked, snatching up another food bar with a terrifyingly quick swipe. He held it between his fingers, delicately, as if it were contaminated, but his eyes showed no fear, just a judging stare down.

"After awhile, anything will taste good." Aoko offered. "It's the same with the food bars, even if they don't taste that great, it's still food." She shrugged.

"Anyway, I'm Aoko. You can usually find me in room 38A." She smiled, offering a small bow with her head.

"Ah..." Watanuki nodded. So she was in Suite 38, then. "I'm... I'm Watanuki Kimihiro. Suite 17. Its nice to meet you, Aoko-san."

She used the word food, and Watanuki scowled, looking down at it.

"This isn't food. Food is created, cooked, prepared, and served, with caring, and kindness, and thoughts of well-being. THIS." He held it up with his index finger and thumb. "THIS is shit. I'll show this place was REAL FOOD is."

There was some hesitance. "...Well, somehow, anyway." He had to.

He was lucky that Aoko wasn't phased by swear words or else she just might have tried to smack him and get onto him for his choice of language. "I don't think there's really anything else you can use to cook." She looked sad a moment but quickly pushed passed it.

"Well! It's okay, really, they aren't so bad after you just get used to them."

"HOW COULD THIS EVER BE 'NOT SO BAD'?!!!" Even though she was a girl, a pretty one, that particular comment could never fly. He took a deep breath to calm himself.

"I will find something. Even if it kills me." Which, considering the place, to potentially could.

She winced again as she had not been expecting him to shout like that. "I-I don't know, you just get used to it after a while I guess. You don't have to yell like that." She pointed out "And really, there's point in complaining about what's bad, I'm pretty sure the doctors don't even care."

Watanuki halted immediately in his yelling. Bi-polar, much? "Doctors? Are they the ones performing everything?"

"Yeah... but.. didn't someone already explain everything to you?" She hoped someone had, she wasn't really the best at explaining this- maybe she could make Kaito do it.

"Well... some guy named Zero gave me some kind of newcomer text, but..." Watanuki scratched at his chin a bit. "...It... it's a bit confusing, you know? All of this information at once..."

"Yeah... I guess I could see that." She admitted, nodding slightly. "If I could, I'd try to explain better but I'm not very good at that sort of thing. But if you need help you can feel free to ask."

Watanuki offered her a nod.

"Thank you, Aoko-san," he stated, offering her a bow. "...I'm sorry for the trouble."

"It's no trouble, really." she waved it off. "This place is awful but sometimes it's not too bad..." she offered, reaching to grab two food bars so she could drag one back to Kaito's room and maybe borrow some clothes from him since the consortium had decided to give him girl's clothes.

"Well, um.. I should see if I can find any other clothes to wear. Anything, at this moment anyway, would have been better then maternity clothes.
