Link could be seen from the open door of suite three, the inspector slowly making his way toward the common room couch. Tsunade had ordered him to bed rest, but... nature calls when it calls, and Allen had disappeared to heavens only knew where, so the inspector was on his own for now. He could and would make it back to his bed on his own, and that was just how things were going to be.

His memories had begun to return quickly (within hours after he awoke the day before), but his body in general was continuing to be uncooperative. Short-term memories were still touch and go, and his motor skills were suffering severely. Walking had become an almost absurd challenge and finer movements were still just about out of the question, and it was with a sigh of relief and a wince that Link dropped into a seat, head pounding.

... Perhaps just a short rest would be alright.

'Shinichi' caught sight of Link through the door way and poked his head inside for another look. Yes, that was the guy who got killed alright. He should talk to him too. Maybe he'd recovered enough to tell him something useful.

"Ah, excuse me. Mr. Howard Link?"

Link looked up from his seat, squinting at the boy in the doorway. Searching his mind for a name to go with that face, the inspector came up empty-handed... though that might've just been the head injury. Link still couldn't really know at this point.

"... Can I help you?"

The polite reaction was something deeply ingrained and had been one of the first habits to return.
