Neku was clinging to Joshua in a manner that was completely and utterly shameless. He knew that the Composer wouldn't drop him, not for anything, and even if he did- would never let him hit the ground. The fear that Sebastian had instilled in him was fresh, and he was trying to combat it with logic. Well. Logic had never served Neku Sakuraba very well.
"Don't let go." He breathed the words before he knew he was going to, and mentally cursed the experiment. Neku wanted to blame it, even though that little outburst was entirely unrelated. The Proxy squeezed his eyes shut, face buried in Joshua's neck as he held on for dear life.
I don't want to die. I don't want to die. Please don't let me die....
