Companion to our demons // they will dance, and we will play...

Nov 12, 2009 13:55

Who: Yazoo, Haruno Sakura, and Pluto (?)
When: After Cloud's post and Sakura's failed attempt to ditch Yazoo and Pluto.
Where: In Death City, somewhere.
Summary: Sakura tries to wittily distract the rather taciturn Yazoo all for the effort of attempting escape... again.
Rating: PG-13-S for Language and Silly. Will change as is appropriate.
Warnings: Sakura's really, really good at having one sided conversations.

Sakura shifted, wiggling her fingers and noting yet again that her hands currently could not meet. Irksome, to realize Yazoo actually could pay attention to the important details. Even more irksome that all her techniques for getting out of being tied were being foiled so far. Given enough time, she could get herself free, Sakura was certain of it.

Hopefully she could just get Yazoo to be so entirely irritated by her capacity to be annoying that he wouldn't pay close attention to the whys and method to her apparent madness. Taking a deep breath, she coaxed her mind into an inner stillness she'd perfected over the last three years. "You know," she said at last, turning her head enough to the side to address the other occupants of the room. "I can't claim to be an expert on these sorts of situations, but I've got to hand it to you. You're the most absolutely stunning conversationalist I've ever had the pleasure to be stashed in a room with. I'd applaud your creativity and wit, but my hands are currently otherwise occupied, so the thought will have to last you."

She shifted, wriggling her wrists and ignoring the chafing it caused. She'd have to get her hands free first, either way. Her legs still weren't working at full capacity, and that kind of dexterity was still out of reach. Then again, if she found something conveniently sharp, at least her legs wouldn't feel it if she was a little clumsy...
