Severus Snape and The Joker//The Last Laugh?
Sectumsempra!
[The berry hits the ground, taking in a shaky view of Joker, seen from below. At the sound of that angrily bellowed word, huge gashes open up in Joker's flesh and clothes, causing a momentary spray of blood, a few drops of which spatters the screen. The clown slumps backwards into a brick wall, looking at someone unseen, off camera, before tossing his head back and beginning to laugh loudly, mockingly.]
STOP. Stop LAUGHING! [The voice is higher, now, not quite as commanding as a moment before..and then the rage returns] STOP!
Crucio!
[Joker falls to the ground, twitching and for a moment, the laughter lapses into a high pitched scream. His eyes roll madly as he spends every ounce of breath in his lungs, the tormented sound ending in a gurgle as he coughs out a dribble of blood. It seems like he's finished, for just a second, but then he draws in a huge breath, and begins to roll, back and forth, cackling even louder and holding his stomach]
Crucio! Crucio! [Snape lets out a wordless scream of rage, tossing his wand aside and stepping into the frame to kick Joker in the rips, in the stomach, hard and desperate enough that at least once the crack of bone can be heard, though the laughter doesn't stop, doesn't even falter as the red pool surrounding him widens]
JUST SHUT UP!! [Snape is kneeling, now, his eyes like a maddened animal as he drops down onto the man and wraps his hands around his throat, trying to choke out the horrible laughter.
He seems to succeed at that, wringing his neck until the sound fades to a high pitched giggle. When the Joker speaks, it's with even more of a rasp than usual, and faint.... but there's something terrible in his tone. There's victory. Awful triumph.]
Don't...don't you get it? [His eyes roll again, and eventually settle on Snape, what skin on his face not covered by makeup going from pale, to blue, the blood beginning to flow from his wounds more slowly]
Miracles everywhere, and you don't even see the punchline yet?
[He struggles, managing one more deep breath, which he lets out in a rasping, rattling chuckle before finally trailing off, his eyes still eerily fixed on Severus as all the lights go out.
Severus withdraws his hands, now soaked in blood, which he only notices when he rubs his temple, a nervous habit he recoils from when he sees his reddened palms. Stumbling back, his hand bumps the 'berry, and he turns slowly towards it, picking it up with a shivering hand.]
Hell...
