002 | Accidental Video with Yukina
[The video switches on as Damian approaches the capes safehouse. He’s far enough away from it that it can’t be identified in the background. Barely seen, but visibly sticking out of his pocket is some candy he took from the general store (well it wasn’t like he could pay for it). Normally this wouldn’t be out of the ordinary for a child, but Damian likes to pretend he’s above childlike activities.
He glances around as he gets closer to make sure he’s not being followed, and as his eyes drift back to the safehouse, he comes face to face with quite possibly the last person he wanted to see (and that includes the Joker).]
...What are you doing here? [AVOIDING ANY KIND OF EYE CONTACT LIKE A BOSS. There might even be some awkward blushing.]
[Yukina’s face turns bright red at the sight of Damian. She quickly brings her hands to her face to cover up her face with the sleeves of her kimono.]
Papa. He brought me here to keep me safe. I just... I’m sorry. [She bows deeply, hoping he wouldn’t yell at her, even though she felt like she had every right to yell at him.]
And who might that be? [Damian shifts his weight at the apology. He’s been trying not to think about the mistletoe thing.] ...For what?
Papa? Bucky. He brought me here.
[Why must you make her explain? She nervously touched her lips.] For running away like I did. I didn’t mean to. I was just scared. I’ve never been kissed like that before.
