Progress is meaningless to the likes of Karkat! His only working method is to move backwards through any accomplishment, obliterating any semblance of competence or wholeness in his reverse wake. Like a savage brushfire of ineptitude!

Also his mouth is like a gutter. I think washing it out with the mud could only make it cleaner!
