[ Color guide: Tamaki and Xion ]
[ There's a bit of a clatter as Tamaki reaches into his breast pocket and pulls out his communicator. The lens focuses as the sudden light brings a view of Tamaki's left shoulder where a leg rests. As he raises it, it's easy to tell that Xion is perched on his shoulders. ]
Here, if you raise this up you might be able to use the camera to see higher.
[ He passes the device to her, and Xion fumbles around with the device. Soon half of her face comes into view. She holds it up, one eye closed, brow furrowed.]
Tamaki I'm not sure if this is really working...Besides, all I see is--
[Xion wobbles a bit, nearly falling off of her tall person's shoulders.] Whoops! Um, yeah, just a lot of more hedges...Like...a lot.
[ He sighs. ] We'll have to sleep under the stars. At least I'm glad for the company. [ He chuckles softly and tightens his grip on her shins. ] Hold on.
[ Tamaki begins to walk ahead and after two turns comes upon a small open space with four other possible choices coming from it. Carefully, he kneels and helps Xion off his shoulders and takes off his blazer and drapes it on her shoulders. ]
It looks we'll have to call this place home for tonight.
[Xion wriggles off of him at smiles gratefully at the gift of his blazer, patting it down over her shoulders.]
Thanks Tamaki. I hope that we can make it out of here sometime soon...I really don't think we'll last long in a maze without any food.
[She bumps her fist into her nose, the berry still in her other hand.] Stupid maze... Well, it could be worse, right? At least the hedges aren't...um...on fire? Yeah! That's a plus! [A rather naive looking grin.]
Oh! I think I might have one more left. [ Tamaki fumbles in his pockets and pulls out a food bar from F1. ] Here, you should have it.
[Xion takes it into her hand and looks down at it, opening it and bringing it to her lips before pausing.] ...Wait. [Crrk! She splits it in half and holds out the other end back to Tamaki.] Let's share it instead, okay?
If you insist. [ He takes it with a grateful smile and then shoves the whole thing in his mouth. Even though it's a disgusting food bar, he's got this overjoyed look on his face. Must have been starving. ]
[Blinkblinkblink.] Uh...Try not to choke, okay? I don't want to be found lost in a hedge maze with an asphyxiated Tamaki.
[She folds her arms and shakes her head. Wait, she just used a big word like asphyxiated! Score!]
That's really no good for anyone involved in that situation.
[ He swallows and glances at the device still in her hands. ] Oh here, I'll take that back. Thanks for holding i-wh, it's been on this whole time!?
[Tamaki brings it close to his face. ] If anyone sees this, Xion and I are lost in the hedge maze. PLEASE send help!
[She comes into view of the device, waving her arms.] Or a chainsaw!
Either would be wonderful! And please bring food!
[More frantic arm waving!] But not food bars!
[ He smooshes his cheek against hers so they can both be on camera for this close up. ] How could you deny help to such beautiful faces?
[Okay, Xion can't help but giggle at that, showing off those pearly whites..] Yeah, exactly! We don't want to staaaaarve~
[She falls against Tamaki and pretends to faint. By now she has completely forgotten that this isn't all some big game of make-believe. He catches her, holding her close. It's hard to tell if he's playing along or really scared. ]
No, Xion! Oh, if only I had known you were so weak, I never would have allowed you to share! Maybe we could try mud cakes? Isn't that a food commoner children make?
[ Tamaki gently lays Xion down and rushes out of frame. ] So what do you need to make a mud pie? Think, Tamaki! Xion's life may depend on it!
[Some manic giggling later, Xion smiles into the camera of the berry.] Please come before he feeds me whatever scary thing a mud pie is. Please. [Another giggle and she reaches over, still on the ground in her felled position. The feed cuts out.]
