It has been a good Thanksgiving break for me so far.  Yesterday I slept a ton and played some hidden object games (one of my many weaknesses) and was generally a lazy person.  Today I went shopping in the afternoon/evening (avoiding the worst of the mob, yay!) and am considering doing some sewing tomorrow.

Hello, everyone!  Let me introduce you to yukata.

Yukata started out as about seven yards of gorgeous red fabric, a sewing machine, and my desire to try making functional Japanese clothing for my best friend to wear at Ohayocon 2011.
