Since we don’t know that Sirius Black is dead - we merely saw him fall - we should maintain that he is still alive.

Since we don’t know that Snape is a traitor - he seems to be made of shades of grey - we should maintain that he is loyal.

We don’t know the whereabouts of all the Horcruxes, ergo they are all destroyed.

We have no evidence that Draco Malfoy has received the Dark Mark. Therefore he is still innocent.

We don’t know for certain that the Daily Prophet writes only lies and libel, therefore we must believe it publishes the truth.
