A/N: This is my interpretation... of how the scene between Katherine and Caroline could have played out...

„You know… in a way, I’m your mummy, while Damon is your daddy.“ She was gliding her fingers through her brown locks. A chuckle escaped her as she said this out-loud, laughing at her own joke.
Caroline said nothing, just looked at her from the head of her bed, still trying physically to distance herself from the dangerous older vampire.
“What do you want...?” asked the blonde finally, looking anything but strong and confident. She was afraid and freaked out. She wondered how the older woman could have gotten into her home.
“Stefan, a little of Damon, Mystic Falls under my control, a new car... But that isn’t the right question now is it...” she smirked deviously at the blonde. She slowly glided towards the bed and sat on the corner. Then she came nearer to where the blonde was curled on, by supporting her upper body with her arms.
“Do you want to try again? I’ll give you one question...” she smirked.
There had been a lot of things she wanted to know, but the first thing that came into mind was, “How did you get into my home. I didn’t invite you in.”
Katherine smirked. “Oh, such a shame. You just wasted your question... Really. This is something even you could figure out on your own.”
She got up from the bed and started to almost glide through the room. As she stepped to the window, Katherine slowly and gracefully moved the curtain to the side and looked out. The sunlight hit her face and for a moment Katherine looked so much like the best friend Caroline had known for many years.
Then her angelic face morphed into a malicious grin and she turned away from the window, the movement causing shadows to darken her features.
“Your mummy wants something from you Caroline... Something even you can do...” A dark chuckle accompanied her next set of instructions. And in between the instructions and the dark laughter, harsh threats and promises were made to scare the little lost girl sitting curled up on her bed.
