A/N: Ok, so I really can’t imagine that Damon would do such a thing with Caroline, but lets imagine for the sake of this fanfic that it is... But I am sure, that he would actually love this...

They were sitting together in her parents’ living room, watching a horror movie with vicious vampires in it, which she insisted on watching. He only endured it to humour her, and secretly laugh at the absurdity of it.
“Oh my god!” whispered Caroline, holding her hands to her mouth, and scooting even closer to him. “Oh god! He’s going to kill her...!”
He listened to her accelerated heartbeat, and the blood that was flowing much faster in her system now. He felt the shivers of fear in her body as she pressed herself even further into him. And when the vampire in the movie finally bit into the throat of the young innocent woman, her horrified shriek made him chuckle.
It really was ironic that little Caroline here was looking for shelter in his arms, while she should actually have been running away from him. Not that she could have ever outrun him, or that she would even be able to remember that he was the evil creature that fed every night from her.
“It’s only a movie... You know that vampires aren’t real!” laughed Damon again, as she again shrieked when the vampire in the movie scared her again.
