Oh, that last one... yeah, I inherited that one as well, along with my Da's short statue. Sigh...

The crocheted lace is lovely. I always wanted to learn to do that. Also tatting and bobbin lace. Life is too short *sigh*

She also made amazing filet lace ... the stuff that starts with a background like the way fishermen make their own nets.

I thought it was just a regular piece of crochet. I DO have some thin needle things that might be for tatting though I thought that the result of tatting was more 'circular' and done with finer thread.
