My body will be set aflame tonight...
This blog is gonna be all over the place...but fuck it, doesn't matter that much.
Finally found out why I've been feeling like shit for the last 2 months. Woke up on Sunday morning and thought I was having a heart attack...scary shit. Went to the hospital and got an ECG, checked my blood pressure and all that. Everything was fine (apart from my irregular heartbeat but I already knew about that). It was a panic attack...turns out I'm suffering from anxiety (which is pretty much harmless, but it's probably the most uncomfortable thing ever). Well, my name has been put down for a session with a psychiatric nurse...hopefully get to the root of what's causing it all.
Almost 2 weeks ago, we had our first gig in The Vale. It was almost a disaster. Everything was falling apart and the heat was unbearable. Managed to get through the whole set without walking off and put on a memorable (at least :P ) show. Friday there, we played another gig in the Vic Suite. Fucking superb! Pits all over the shop, plenty of headbanging and everyone seemed to enjoy it. Feels good to be back :P Time to work on a couple more new songs...the rate we've been going, we might even have a completely different set at our next gig, haha!
I've started exercising. I think it's long overdue. At least an hour of walking, 30 sit-ups, at least 10 push ups, 50 squats (with or without weights, depending on how I feel after the walking) and 200 dumbell presses (only like 2.5lbs weights, but it's a start, haha). Down to 12 and a half stone (so I'm half a stone overweight). Once I get rid of my beer belly and my man-chebs, I'll hefty be walkin about wearin wifebeaters n'at, haha! Well, need to build up my arms as well cause they just look shite.
I seen the biggest moth I've ever seen in my life today. Thank fuck it wasn't in my house, haha.
Was thinking about going to Download this year (first year I've actually wanted to go) but the camping tickets sold out. I spent all my cash and they went and released 2500 more...bastards. Ach well, Bloodstock, here I come!
Still looking for a job. Need one within the next 2 weeks or it's back on New Deal...which is a fucking nightmare. Worst case scenario is going back to Amazon...fuck that, I'll go back to college or something :P
Buroo money tomorrow...everyone's away to Download so I probably won't be in the pub or that this weekend. Save me some cash I guess! Oh wait...I'm barred from the Jimmy anyway, haha.
