Let me say right up front that I did not understand how that murder was committed at all. How did those people burn? And, why they just sitting around when the murderer unscrewed the finial from the bed frame?
Fortunately, it was fairly easy to ignore all that.
We got to see additional background on Booth, including the fact that his father walked out on them and his grandfather still feels guilty over it.
We also got to see that the Booth charm with women is apparently inherited.
My favorite scene was Booth standing in his burnt kitchen with Pops. that hangdog look he had just touched me. A close second was when Booth told Brennan that he would take a leave of absence to take care of his grandfather. You could see how much Brennan was hurting for him.
If they are going to have a different person every week tell Booth and Brennan they should get together, but nothing changes, it's going to get old real fast.
That little grin the Brennan had when she said the only nickname she ever had was the one Booth gave her was adorable.
