Serious Job Worries
I'm off on Monday for MLK day. It's one of the rare days the stock market is closed.
And on Tuesday, I go back in and people will be fired that day.
I am a nervous wreck. Several weeks ago, they fired people from the technology support group. One of the people who was let go was told it had absolutely nothing to do with performance. They needed to ax a certain number of employees and he was chosen. He had been with the firm 15 years.
I changed positions yet again, maybe 5 months ago? Anyway, I've been some big errors during that time. I'm learning and I think I'm basically over the hump now, but who knows.
If I get let go, I don't know whats going to happen. There isn't exactly a lot of jobs out there.
I'm turning off comments because I don't think there's anything to say. Until Tuesday is over, I'm going to be a stressed out wreck, I fear.
