Much stuff
First I quit my temp job at Federal. I was getting $8.50 an hour the same as the others but had way more responsibility. Plus my allergies were killing me. Now I am getting the house back into shape, helping a friend with her non-profit and working on possibly being my own business and doing the sewing projects etc that have been on hold. I've also done a bunch of apartment search research so soon Pat and I will go looking at my top 5 complexes and see which one actually ends up being our fav. Oh and I've been committing more time to lighting stuff for church.
Next Mom...there still hasn't been an estate sale and lot's of crap going on with that. I'll probably be spending a great deal of my now free time working with Mom to get her house into some semblance of livable pre-sale and cleaning and fixing and making it actually livable post-sale. At the very least we're changing out faucets, painting, and redoing the floors.
Finally and most importantly Pat. Has his job at Fermi now which is awesome and allowed me to quit at Federal. Is currently finishing up the last bits for his last 2 classes. He's attended all the lectures for the one class and needs only to take an exam and right 3 one-two page responses to talks he heard to finish it. For the other class he simply needs to turn in a final 8 or so paper that he's about to start writing tonight. He's currently rereading his primary text before begining. And the final paper is all he really has to do. The other class was just to get financial aid this term. We got the letter today stating he'd passed the comprehensive so seriously as long as he passes this research paper he will have a degree soon. Very exciting.
