So yesterday I got thinking (as I was putting together a drawer unit, as you do) about the whole Molly thing - what if Gene isn't Alex's mental construct? What if it's Molly?

It's not so much a theory as random thoughts, but yes.

Doctor Who was so funny last night. When the Doctor asked whether they were in a dream or reality I added "Or in a coma after being shot" and made my hubby facepalm *grins*

I approve of all Doctor Who references. In the first ep of this season, in that room with all the coma patients, I couldn't help but look for Alex 'til I remembered which show I was watching *facepalm*

But in all seriousness, this could really work. With the scarcity of Molly references this season, if they suddenly bring her back and pull a 'Alex must choose between Gene and Molly and she picks Molly', I can just see it being so forced. But if she never existed in the first place... It should be interesting.

Ooh, I like the idea of it all being an imaginary world. as long as she doesn't wake up in a space ship heading to another planet is fine by me
