Procrastination of course

So, I should really be finishing up plans for the last few days of school, yet here I am... I know LJ is good for many things ;)
What's new? Oh, I had surgery about a month ago (it will be a month Fri). I had the arthoscope on my right wrist. The doc wanted to look inside to see if there are any major problems, or it's all in my head. I have 2 small scars on my wrist - one from the camera, one from the tube they blow air through to open it up.
I went back to him on Wed to see what they found. What I found was they lost the notes on my operation. Yup, he has pictures from a surgery he does so often they aren't really jogging his memory. I am awaiting his call (the people who typed up the notes didn't finish them yet). I'm thinking it wasn't major, so who knows what will happen, if anything. I'm just anticipating that I will have to live with this for the rest of my life. I'm only (almost) 25 - that's a long time. But, I realize, it could be a hell of a lot worse.
What else? I don't think there's anything. My contract for teaching will not get extended, which means the plan is to sub teach another year. I'm a little disappointed (the woman's coming back half time, so her other sub got an extention), but I'm not an elementary music person. I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought, but I am so much more comfortable (therefore more efficient) with kids grade 10-12. Although k-1 is a lot better than I thought.
Well, report card summary (the newsletter attached to the real report card) has to be finished, and I have 8 classes to do it for... I guess I'll sign off now...

*Just because I don't post often doesn't mean I don't read other posts. I just don't comment a lot - so I am around!
