This past week has also been pretty low-key. Not a lot of assignments and not a lot of plans.

I finished reading Gail Carriger's Blameless on Thursday. Her books are always so lovely! They're fun and amusing and make me want to curl up with a nice cup of tea. I enjoyed Blameless. I will admit though that I was half hoping for some romance between Alexia and Madame Lefoux because I was mad at Conall. He had no right to get so mad at Alexia over the baby! I suppose I'll eventually forgive him though, since he made up with Alexia. And he was able to successfully turn Biffy. I would have been upset if Biffy had died. I'm looking forward to seeing more of him as a werewolf (though I don't know what Lord Akeldama will do with out his favorite drone). I can't wait for Heartless to come out this summer. I tweeted that I had enjoyed the book and was looking forward to the next book, and Gail Carriger actually replied to me tweet and thanked me for the compliment! The fact that she had acknowledged my tweet pretty much made my day and I tweeted about that as well. She then replied to my tweet again and said she was glad to be of service. It put a smile on my face.

On Friday night I got together with immelmanturn. We hadn't had much time to hang out recently, so we had a lot to catch up on. She rented the projector from Collins and we watched Adam Lambert's concert DVD, projected on the wall of her apartment. And had all of the fangirling for about 12 hours straight (a lot of it about Adam, and Sara also shared some bandom stuff with me). We didn't get to bed at about 6 AM. I thought it was pretty impressive. We also baked cookies and failed at baking cinnamon buns the next day.

Had a nice long phone conversation with stellawind tonight, as it had been a bit since we'd last talked. It sounds like she's going to be visiting next weekend, so I'm happy! It gives me something to look forward to, amidst all the schoolwork that's going to start cropping up soon.
