Been watching Agatha Christie's Poirot. I'm not a huge fan of Art Deco but damn me if I can't help admiring the production, sets and costumes of this show. It's dead on - from the set of every woman's hair to the beautiful cut glass martini glasses. And the wonderful cars! It's just so aesthetically pleasing.

Finally got around to watching last week's Poirot telemovie, Cards on the Table. Not quite as fun to watch as the others, but then again the plot *is* mainly psychological and mostly involves Poirot using his 'little grey cells' to figure things out.
