I never understood nor had the SLIGHTEST idea about how it would be like until I actually experienced it. Losing somebody to the military is SO FUCKING HARD. Part of me is INSANELY proud of him and happy for him and think that he is doing something good with his life, but a part of me is like "WHAT THE FUCK IT'S NOT WORTH IT" *sigh* Part of me

ah if yo ugot that comment that i deleted, let me rephrase it. i didn't mean to sound bitter and psycho.

i hate having a military dad but they try to make it as normal as possible for the civilians involved. when i hated my dad after he came home, the insurance paid for therapy and it helped.. sorta. hahaha

It must be a very confusing feeling you have right now...I wouldn't know, but I wish you two the best. I hope that your relationship survives and maybe even flourishes through this hardship.
