Summary: AU - bandfic? - Kyo wants to jump, and while his friends try to stop him, Tora pushes him to the edge.
Author's note: This was written in 20 minutes after a random plot bunny started hopping around and refused to disappear! D: And it's not beta'd. So be gentle, pretty please? XD

"Kyo, please come down? You're gonna hurt yourself!" Die called from where he was standing, not very far behind Kyo.
"I don't care! I wanna do it." Kyo replied, and took a steady step forward towards the edge.
"For Christ's sake, Kyo! You're condemning yourself! You're gonna die!" Kaoru, who was standing right behind Die, and clinging to him tightly because he was dizzy of high places.
"Kaoru, you're choking me! You should've stayed down!" Die said, trying to get Kaoru to loosen his grip.
"Bullshit! I'm the band leader, I should be here trying to stop him.." he pointed at Kyo and then brought his hand back where it was before: Die's neck. "..from committing suicide!"
"He won't commit any suicide, you idiot! Don't say that!" Die replied and turned his attention back at Kyo. "Kyo, please don't jump. Pretty please?" Die tried giving his friend the best puppy eyes he could master.
"Hey, if you gave me that look I'd surrender in a moment." Kaoru beamed.
"Jerk." Die snorted and poked Kaoru's side with his elbow. "This is no time for jokes."
"Kyo, honey, please take a step back from there?" Toshiya, the bassist, shouted from beneath and waved his arms to the direction he wanted Kyo to go to.
"Shut up, Toshi!" Kyo glared at his friend. "You don't know anything about this!"
"Well, maybe I don't! BUT I DON'T WANT YOU DEAD!" Toshiya covered his eyes and turned to hide his face onto Shinya's chest.
The drummer patted Toshiya's back and looked up at Kyo, silently waiting for what was going to happen. If Kyo had made up his mind about something, then there was nothing that could get him to change his mind.
"What's this all about?" a voice was heard from behind.
Shinya turned to see a familiar face looking at him. "And you are..?" he asked, not being able to remember the man's name. But he had seen him somewhere before.
"Tora."
"Oh, Alice Nine, right?" Shinya smiled.
"Yup." Tora returned the smile. "So, what's going on?" he asked and looked up to see Kyo looking down but not making any movements.
"Kyo wants to jump and we're trying to stop him." Shinya explained.
"He wants to kill himself! That's what's going on!" Toshiya added in frustration and pulled away from Shinya to look back at Kyo. "KYO GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM THE EDGE! NOW!"
"FUCK OFF!" Kyo yelled and wrinkled his nose at his friend.
"Kyo, PLEASE!" Kaoru called once more.
"Yeah, Kyo, please don't do this! We still love you!" Die pleaded, but Kyo merely shrugged them off.
"I think it's cool actually." Tora mumbled, putting his hands on his hips and looking up. That comment of his earned him two angry glares from Shinya and Toshiya. "What?" he gave them an innocent look.
"Try being helpful instead of.. whatever you're trying to be." Toshiya mumbled.
"Okay." Tora smirked and looked up at Kyo. "HEY KYO-CHAN! YOU THINK YOU'VE GOT THE BALLS TO DO THIS? THEN WHY DON'T YOU JUMP AND SPARE YOUR FRIENDS A HEART ATTACK?" he shouted at the top of his lungs.
"What the.." Shinya glared at Tora. "Are you NUTS? HE'LL DIE!"
"YOU THINK I CAN'T DO IT? IS THAT WHAT YOU THINK?" Kyo yelled back at Tora.
"ACTUALLY, I THINK YOU'RE TOO SCARED TO DO IT!" Tora replied, not paying attention to an angry Shinya who was being held by a terrified Toshiya, who was trying to stop him from launching himself at the young guitarist.
"SHUT UP YOU!" Kyo replied from above, his patience reaching its limit.
"CHICKEN!" Tora simply added more fuel to fire. "KYO-CHAN IS TOO SCARED TO JUMP~"
"I AM NOT A CHICKEN!" Kyo yelled. "AND NO ONE. CALLS ME. CHAN!"
That seemed to do it. If there was anything in this world that could trigger an endless amount of anger within Kyo, it was being called a chicken, and -chan. Within a second, he closed his eyes, spread his arms and jumped.
Tora's smirk turned into a grin as he watched the blonde man falling down, and he crossed his arms while admiring his idol.
"KYO NO!!!" both Die and Kaoru launched forward in attempts to catch their friend, but they merely stood at the edge of the jumping board and looked down as Kyo hit the water of the pool with a big splash.
"He's dead. OhmyGod he's dead." Toshiya mumbled and rushed to the edge of the pool and tried to see Kyo who wasn't surfacing just yet.
"Where is he?" Shinya asked, rushing to Toshiya's side.
"No clue." The bassist replied. "I can't see him. The pool is too deep and too dark for me to see anything. I knew I should've kept my glasses on!"
"Shit. Shitshitshitshitshitshit." A panicking Kaoru left Die's side and hurried down the stairs of the jumping board. Die soon followed him and the two of them joined their friends near the pool.
"Why isn't he getting up?" Die asked, kneeling at the edge and squint his eyes to get a better look at what was happening underwater. Not that it helped much, because Die still didn't see anything.
Tora had moved to the other side of the pool, and stood next to the little stair-case and waited. A moment later, a breath-deprived Kyo emerged from underwater and clung to the metal stairs.
"Way to go." Tora said, clapping lazily as he grinned at the blonde man.
"Fucker." Kyo mumbled and got out of the water. "You tricked me into doing it." He said in a dangerously low tone and gave Tora's chest a hard poke.
"At least that made one of your dreams come true." The young guitarist replied, not caring at the way Kyo was glaring at him, as if he was going to eat him alive.
"You're supposed to CARE about me! Not get me to jump into a pool, knowing VERY well that I can't swim unless I can feel the ground under my feet!"
"But you did swim without feeling the ground under your feet." Tora beamed.
"KYO! OHMYGOD! KYO YOU'RE ALIVE!!" Toshiya practically threw himself at Kyo and hugged him tightly.
"Toshi, you're choking me!" the blond pushed his friend off of him.
"Do you realize what you made us go through?!" Came Die's scoff.
"And you!" Kaoru whacked Tora over the head. "Instead of trying to stop him, you called him chan!"
"Ow! That hurt!" Tora rubbed his head and gave Kaoru a pained look.
"Hey, don't hit him!" Kyo pulled himself out of Toshiya's grip and walked over to Tora, running his hand over the spot where Kaoru just hit. "Did it hurt?"
"Not much." Tora mumbled with a pout, and then put his arm around Kyo's shoulder.
"I'm still going to punish you though." Kyo poked at Tora's side and then turned to his friends. "We'll go to my place now. And no, you're not invited."
"What? Why?" Die whined. "We're the ones who tried to keep you from killing yourself, and not him!"
"Yeah! That's not fair!" Toshiya put an arm around Die's shoulder, which was quickly replaced by Kaoru's (and earned him a glare).
"He believed that I could do it. So he gets to be rewarded.." Kyo said, and soon realized that a reward wasn't what Tora deserved right now. "I mean punished." He added quickly. "Cuz he called me things he shouldn't have."
"Let's go to my place, then." Kaoru declared. "I've got some alcohol I need to get rid of, and you guys are gonna help me."
"SWEET!" Die yelped, bouncing and taking Kaoru's hand in his. "Then what're we waiting for? Bye-bye you two!" he addressed Kyo and Tora and pulled Kaoru with him to the dressing room to get dried and change into their clothes before heading to Kaoru's place.
After they all were gone, Kyo turned to Tora. "So, what will it be?"
"Something kinky." Tora grinned.
"It's supposed to be a punishment, not kinky!" Kyo gave him a mischievous grin.
Snickering, Tora wrapped his arms around Kyo's shoulders. "Punishment is a kinky thing."
Kyo smiled, looking into Tora's eyes. "Thanks for believing in me, though. I probably wouldn't have done it if it wasn't for you." He said in a soft tone.
"I'm glad I could help." Tora replied and leaned down a bit to brush a kiss over Kyo's lips.
"If you do that again, I might change my mind about the form of punishment." Kyo purred, moving his hands up and down Tora's sides.
"Then I'll do the best I could to turn the punishment into sweet love-making." Tora said, nuzzling Kyo's nose and placing another kiss over his lips.
"I'll think about that on the way home."
