It was raining the day I first met you. The rain pouring over the city mercilessly while people tried to get to their homes from work. I was going home myself, and you.. well, you were just standing there around the corner, soaked up but didn't seem to care. It’s like you were waiting for someone, but that someone had never showed up. I don't know what made me offer you a shelter under my umbrella, but what I do know is that I didn't and still don't regret it.
It's been three years since that day, and look where we are now. Our life has never been any better. I love being around you, with you, inside of you. And you fill my life with such love and joy that I had never known before.
It's raining again, and today I've forgotten to take an umbrella with me. They didn't say anything about raining in the forecast the night before. But one can never tell what Mother Nature has in store for us. Just as one can never tell that I would see you holding the same old umbrella over my head the moment I stepped out of the recording studio.
