Scotland: Day 4: Galashiels and Kailzie Gardens

The first thing we did today was drive to a town called Galashiels. It is probably the largest town/city in this area South of Edinburgh. We went there to go to a store called Curry's, which is sort of like Circuit City, and get me a new camera. While we were there they had a  news channel on one of the display tvs and thats when we found out about the terrorist attacks in London. It's really horrible that that many people died and we're injured, but I'm not scared like everyone assumes I would be. Thats probably because the attacks were in London and I'm closer to Edinburgh. After that, we went back to the house in Peebles and got lunch and watched the news for a few minutes. Plus, I got the memory card out of my old, dead camera and put it in the new one.

After that, we went to a place in Peebles called the Kailzie Gardens. It was so beautiful there. There were so many different sorts of flowers mixed together, but it still looked natural. Plus, there were streams running across the paths and peacocks walking around, so overall it was a pretty magical-feeling place. You could see sheep and cows in the field next to the gardens. I got lots of cool pics, although some of them are sort of weird because I'm still getting used to my new camera. Also, I got some pictures and a good video of the ponies (possibly Shetland?) that were at the entrance to the Gardens.
