I have never been so frustrated with education in my life. I understand now why people drop out of college to work construction. there is something wonderful about stepping back from a project that you've thrown your whole body into. there is beauty in knowing that you're physically exausted from a good day's work. there is something concrete about standing a distance back from a structure that you've built with sweat, nails and wood. and i like getting dirty. i'd rather be sunburnt from working outdoors than pale from lack of exposure.
