Ho hum, lets see what happened today... yeah not much. UGA session thingy, which was basically all the stuff I've already heard at the question sessions, the tours, the website... Cydney Smith and I still found a few answers to pop in while the guy wasn't talking. He sure did like to talk a lot. But besides us two, no one asked anything remotely relevant or intelligent. Come to think of it, besides Cydney and me, there really weren't many others that I think can really make it in. (and Frenchie-- stupid international student lower requirements grumble grumble) Then again, I'm probably thinking its harder to get in than it really is. It was a nice break from photography.
I also saw a few minutes of the debate between team republican and team democrat with Mr. Cunningham presiding. I caught a few minutes of a discussion over whether pot should be made legal, which was interesting. I really am kind of in favor for it. Since I've smoked it, I have a different outlook on it that before. It basically should be treated like alcohol. It should be legal, but people shouldn't be allowed to drive and such while under the influence. I mean, do some research and you'll see that there really is no logical reason that it should be illegal. I wonder what kind of an effect it would have on the economy... Cigarettes would become useless, but pot would take over and make up for the economic loss of the cigarette market. Pot is much better that cigarettes in my opinion. Even though I don't get baked every weekend, I do think its a shame and kind of dumb that it isn't legal and will eventually be made so in the not too distant future.
Anyway, the focus was about to be moved to the War in Iraq when I left for the gym. I never made it to the gym, I made it to Jeremy's house in time to see his car stuck in the mud that is his front yard. So I took him to his place of employment, and now here I am. I was supposed to go shopping today with Stephi, but she hasn't called me yet, and I'm more in the mood to sit at home, do homework, and watch That 70s Show.
