I abandoned my motorcycle at the Hyperion. I hope that Lockley's--zeal, won't extend to accusing Angel or Doyle.
I suspect they would find incarceration no less safe than I would, if for differing reasons.
My best hope is to avoid being taken into custody. However,the police are a less immediate concern than Los Angeles' "night life", which is the other reason I made the hotel my first stop. Angel
keeps a virtual armory of weapons there for our use. Thankfully, this includes the traditional crosses, stakes, and holy water.
