I saw Deathrace on Saturday with Tom while hanging around Oceanside. The movie was a good time. Nothing special in any category, but far from a waste of time. It's the kind of movie that you walk out and say, "That scene was tits, but this scene was cheezy lame as hell." And then that's it. You never speak more about it because there's really nothing to say.
Last night, however, I went to see Sukiyaki Western Django. That's a movie worth talking about. The best way that I could put it is this: If you like Miike movies, or his style, go see it. If you've seen both Yojimbo and Fist Full of Dollars, go see it. Otherwise, it's probably not for you. Not too much action, not too much blood, but funny due to the "we're taking it back" premise. I was entertained.
