So my Bio student teacher left yesterday. This made me very sad.
She was so very, very animated, and funny, and smart, and just sooooo coool!!
Best. Student. Teacher. Ever.
I don't remember quite how it started, but when she first came two weeks ago, I wanted to know her first name. I have manners and I respect my boundaries, of course, I just don't ask teachers their first out of the blue--like I said I don't quite remember the circumstances, but I soon became obssessed with it.
Every since she told me it was the name of a flower, I've been guessing her name every single day for the past two weeks.
Rose...Lily...Violet...Baby's breath...
The obvious and...not so obvious alike.
She was totally evil, she gave me one hint for my insane persistance. It was a one word thingy.
After the first week, I soon became very frustrated.
Lavender...Lilac...Hyacinth...
After school, I googled flower names for girls (something along the lines), and I print out 4 pages worth of charts.
4. Pages.
Is this healthy?
I don't know, nor do I care. I had my heart set on it.
Marguerite...Carnation...Chrysanthemum...
No, no, and no!
What was her name?!? She said she'd tell us the Friday she was leaving...
I swore with utter conviction that I'd figure it out before then.
Poppy...Veronica...Hyacinth...
I gave up yesterday.
I couldn't figure it out. I just didn't know!! What was her name?!?! I needed to know, damnit!!! It was keeping me up at night! T-T
So after I turned in my lab, she asked me if I wanted to, and I'm sure my enthusiasm spoke enough.
Heather.
Her name was Heather.
She tells me that it wasn't the prettiest flower, but it was indeed one.
My obsessive curiosity appeased I embrace her, and bid her adieu.
By this I mean I begged her not to leave in the saddest (pathetic), pleading (whiny) voice I could muster, of course.
God, I'm tired. Well, the school is closing early, and the library is part of the school, unfourtunately. So I must be leaving now, I have hair and eyebrows to get done, anyway. I'm gonna ask my mom if I can dye it.
Yeah...we'll see how well that goes.
Ja.
