. . . why the past 48 hours have been practically perfect:
- Was reunited with Linzee for the first time since Suneetha's 21st birthday party this summer. She taught me so much to play on my guitar, not to mention that she also tuned my poor thing for the first time in two years (yeah, whoops).
- Also that night, we went to see Joshua's apartment at the View for a brief moment, then played a few games of billiards. Friends let friends win at pool -- our new philosophy. Before all that, we decided that Linzee was really, truly the one with the most common sense out of us three. Joshua and I are just hopeless, even if one of us sprints.
- Angela came with Geoff to move the rest of her stuff into the dorm, which now looks and feels like home, right down to the Hello Kitty inflatable chair and spanking new Bruce Lee poster. (Guess which item belongs to which roommate. I dare you.)
- I read perhaps the most exciting part of Gone of the Wind yet under the dim light from our new paper latterns. I had to gasp aloud.
- Caught up on sleep while laying out poolside with Jackie and Monica. Gossiping made almost three hours of getting golden seem like no time at all.
