well, recently the LJ community baby_names has been exploding with activity, so i started making my own name lists too. at this rate, i'll have to have alot of babies, just to name them. ><
the girls:
Lausanne - came across it while studying for history (treaty of Lausanne); also a city in Switzerland
Luana - girl in my class had this name, except with 2 "n"s
Luzanne - derived from Lausanne; i've been informed of an ice tea branded Luzianne though
Megan - classic favorite; no weird spellings (ala Megghheennee) plz
Rachele Jen - need i say more?
Rayne - i like Rain(e) spelt this way
Summer - happy happy name; Summer Rayne as a name is way too tacky though
the boys:
Holden - after Holden Caufield!! *♥s to death*
Joey Matthew - need i say more (pt 2)?
i desparately need more boy names, but none of them appeal to me. all the recent names are getting too trendy for my taste, like Madison, Kayla, Mackenzie, Aiden etc. or their just plain stupid & spelt like they're not meant to be pronounced. on the other hand, old-fashioned names (think Olivia, Virginia, Walter) are becoming "in" again, but i don't like those either. i wonder if Sam still likes the name Carlisle (car-LYLE or car-LY-ull); apparently it's the name of a few towns. also some ppl think it's a male name, which i really don't see how is possible. ._.

HP7 (31/7) - SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! world = in mayhem when this come out.
names, movies, books...TVB SERIALS!! hahahah srsly. since we don't have a tv, we watch TVB serials on our laptops while eating dinner instead. on a 宣萱 marathon right now! :D we just finished 戇夫成龍 (Square Pegs; super old but i love it, except for the dumb ending) & almost done with 流金岁月 (Golden Faith; typical business/revenge show which i'm so over & just want to finish quickly). then onto 阿旺新传 (Life Made Simple), 赌场风云 (Dicey Business) & 樊梨花 (Lady Fan). um, we love 宣萱. haha, we're all super TVB freaks who can remember shows from 10 years ago + know who the ORIGINAL ppl are + can predict all the storylines. TVB serials = life, kthx.
