I'm Fine
Okay, yes, looting is ongoing in London. It's scary both in the nature of the violence and the unpredictability of selected locations. It was particularly unnerving when I was unable to stop at any store on my way home from work yesterday - they were all shut and boarded early. The distant presence of police helicopters and spotlights didn't help.
However - I'm fine. So far, I haven't witnessed anything firsthand and nothing has happened in my neighborhood. I'm also planning to pay super-special attention to making sure I'm in my flat very promptly.
