The Summer Games never dazzle me as much as the Winter ones, because there are no summer sports I'm super invested it, and because Team Canada never does very well. But nonetheless I was pretty psyched to watch the Opening Ceremonies and THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT.
James Bond and the Queen skydived out of a helicopter. Mr Bean played piano. Kenneth Branagh recited Shakespeare. JKR did a reading. THERE WAS A MOTHERFUCKING 40FT INFLATABLE VOLDEMORT, DEFEATED BY MARY POPPINS.
