Just came home from the Portia Ball and all I can really say is "superthankyoumissgiareciofortheawesomeexcusetodressupallpimpedout" Haha.
Well, this is mostly going to be a blurb post about the whole evening:
1) "Vigilance is the price of freedom and lawyers should be at the forefront of protecting the laws and our freedom".
--> Atty. Charito-Cruz, wife of Avelino Cruz, Portian Alumna, and the source of this inspirational line.
It is our duty as the future stewards of justice of this country to not only strike down unjust laws but to ensure that laws continue to serve the people.
2) Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, bring your own sunshine.
--> They placed this line in the send-off video for the Portia graduating seniors. If anything, it reminds me why I've always tried to be an optimist. Bring your own sunshine.:)
3) My polo fit so well tonight. I believe much credit is due Mr. Migs Tirona. Summmer, broskie, sobrang seryosong gym
4) As the Black Eyed Peas song goes: "Let's do it!"
