The shit has hit the fan.
Ugh, repeat of my childhood years indeed. Mom's ex took the money and kicked her and my brother out. She lost approximately 7k (her savings) and is now staying with family until she can get everything sorted and back on her feet. I'm not really trying to start crap or anything, but I have no idea why she put so much trust in him financially after her ex-husband did almost the same thing (stole the money and the business equipment, but lost the court battle over the house) when I was a kid.
I'm saying this here and now, and I do not go back on my word, I will never own a joint account which allows another person full and unfettered access to everything I have.
In other news, I just finished watching Dirty Girl and I suggest everyone else do the same. That movie was amazing. Warning: lotsa R/NC-17-ish language, and there's definite full on nudity for both sexes, also there are homos. Lotsa homos. =)
