I don't know how many of you watch ljsecret (there are often triggering secrets/images), but there was one secret posted that mentions a website called GivesMeHope (www.givesmehope.com for those who may not be able to see the HTML :).

It shows the beauty in humanity and I thought I'd pass it along to anyone who didn't know about it.

Yay, Angela Shelton was interviewed on North Carolina public radio.

Potentially triggery but the interviewer, Frank Stasio really gets it and asks great questions. Moving interview.

This book comes out today.
It is beautiful and hopeful. Do yourself a favor and buy it. To be afraid to read about abuse only perpetuates the stigma and the silence.
It is a beautiful story with a happy ending since she survived !
