Laundry Day
You know what I really love? Clean laundry. It's the best thing ever. When you have clean sheets, and clean clothes, and your room is just that much less messy... fantastic. That kind of stuff is so under-rated. That, and having food in the house; food that you want to eat, and isn't difficult to make. I really appreciate stuff like that. Clean clothes and food. Because you know, in some places, they don't have that stuff. And on a bad day, it's so easy to not care about the little things. Today is a good day.
Although there are a lot of things going on in my life right now which I can be happy about, I have to give a lot of the credit to him. I'm moving this week, I'm employed, I'm less anxious, and I have this guy who actually enjoys touching me in ways that aren't sexual or selfish, and who tells me that I'm beautiful and special. And he wants to be my boyfriend. Of course, I'm still being careful and testing the waters, but it certainly feels good to be with someone who always wants me to sleep over because he misses me when I'm not there. And it feels good to be the one setting the pace for once. So in short, I guess I'm pretty happy.
