dinner with mumsy

Dinner with my Mom actually went pretty well the other night. She knows now about Mike and I living together and she seems okay with it, she even insisted that he come to dinner with us. We went to Red Lobster since we've gone there my whole life for every dinner that ever mattered and it just seemed like the right place. The waiter we had was a total moron though, he forgot our apetizers and then he had to give us free dessert, which was cool. I kind of felt bad for Mike, my Mom and I were talking about family and when I was little and stuff and he was kind of left out. He said he still had fun though so it's okay.

Before we went to dinner I brought my Mom by the apartment so she could see it (and of course I cleaned all f-ing day!!). She didn't say much about it, even when I asked her what she thought. She saw Kalley as soon as she walked in and didn't put her down until we left for dinner, it was cute. She asked if there was anything we still needed, she's going to give Mike and I another dresser from her house, which we definately need because we have way too much stuff for just one. I think she might actually bless us with her precious dishes that she wouldn't let me touch or even breathe on when I lived at home because I'm "careless and clumsy". lol

I have to leave for work soon so that's all for now. Later.
