i think if i ever hear someone having a political debate again, i'm just going to walk away. not because their ignorant, most know more than me actually, but because i think i can safely say these people have never voted in their lives. if they have so much to complain about, it's pretty simple to go out and have an opinion about it. they'll say,

I just registered to vote. That wasn't a debate, was it? More like, Let's Attack the Governor hour. DeVos is a millionaire businessman. He has no interest or use for the middle and lower classes. He's clueless. He's just another wealthy man who thinks that just because he has money and owns a business, he should hold political office. And don't get me started about the government telling you what you can and cannot do with your own body. When men start carrying babies, then they can write a bill banning whatever they want. That's why I hate this presidential administration so much, but that's a whole other topic. Granholm inherited a mess from Engler, so of course she didn't get everything done. She had to fix a whole lot of other shit before she even tackled some of these issues she's being contested on. She's a really nice lady, though. I've met her. She's the niece of my dad's best friend. But I guess that shouldn't really matter. I'm done unloading on you now! Sorry about that. Politics has always been a hot button issue with me.
