Something cool that I heard in church on Sunday about the power of God if you just surrender:

In a Middle Eastern country (not sure which) the country's government was trying to pass a law that made it illegal to convert a Muslim to a Christian. A group of missionaries there did what they could and prayed and prayed to God that the law would not get passed. They began to get very discouraged as it became obvious that the law would pass and would be put into effect in a short amount of time. In their last strand of hope, the missionaries there got together and prayed over two of their men and sent them to talk to a really important woman high up in that country's government. If those two men could convince this woman that the law should not be passed, then it wouldn't. She had that much power. The missionaries prayed over these two men with everything they could and sent them to go talk to her. They had a meeting and explained their point of view and why the law should not be passed, and after about 30 minutes (or less) of discussion, the woman said, "Ok. We won't pass the law." And that was it. They couldn't believe it. The men and the other missionaries were so grateful that they followed up the meeting with a thank-you note. And then they followed up the thank-you note with a thank-you phone call. During the phone call, the woman said "I know that the two of you did all of the talking, but who was the third man sitting with you? He didn't say anything - but I got the message."

True Story.
