wedding bells
well hello everyone! By now you've probably heard the news that little Ali and Matt are engaged :) It's very exciting! I've been engaged for 6 days now, and am having fun doing everyday things but with my ring. I played the flute for the first time today with my ring on, and it was sparkly! What fun! I love my ring, it's not just very very pretty, but it's a symbol that I'll be married to Matt soon, and that's very exciting :P
I went shopping with Mum and two of my bridesmaids and we bought my wedding dress. Pretty crazy stuff! Yeah, I'm an efficient person it would seem. Although I did feel slightly guilty about getting a dress from the first shop we went to. The saleslady gave me a very strange look when I made a crack about not being able to say yes to the dress because I was afraid of committment... (she just clearly didn't understand humour), and I kept falling off the little stool that you stand on in front of the huge mirror. We also had to put little white gloves on to look at all the dresses! Very classy. I felt like a detective, dusting for clues among all the dresses! So anyway, tick in the column next to "buy dress".
So I've got one assignment and one exam to go, and then I'm finished with uni! It doesn't seem like the end of semester really, just because I still have lots of weeks of flute teaching to go (until mid-december) so that won't finish for ages. But that's okay :) It was very hot today, and I felt like going to the beach. Who didn't? That's all for now!
