First, being apart of pit still means you have to go to all the same practices, regardles of what mrs.frimmel is planning on doing, it's really not just as easy way out, it only gets you out of marching.
If your passion is to be in pit, then that's great, I'm all for supporting you on that, I'm even trying out for a pit as well, it is awsome.
But I do believe that you would miss bass way to much. You once said you feel you belong on bass, and you have way more fun. And in the stands, you dont get to do anything if your in pit...i mean you could play cymbals again? But playing pit now, it's like you might as well quit to begin with because in a year you'll probably be tired with it.
I hate to see you demote yourself when you know your a better player than most of the guys in the line.
I agree with everyone - crew can do more things for you, it can get you in shape, and I'm sure the people there are way more fun than band. But like Jenna said, holy crap are you gonna miss it if you quit.
Being with you since 7th grade, hearing you say you dont want to do this anymore really upsets me and I almost think you kidding, or doing this out of spite for state certain relationships with people in the drumline are in, which if that's your way of gettin over them, or getting rid of them, then that's just you.
Do whatever you feel will make you happy, and I guess try not to let the things that would get messed up get in the way of your decisions.
Band once was fun, but those were the days when non of us had other distractions.
i just dont want you to regret anything.
