You have full faith in Bush to decide if a country is good or bad? Okay, I can respect that. But here, let me present you with some facts.

-Since 1983, the war and war- and famine-related effects have led to more than 2 million deaths and over 4 million people displaced.

-"We would not like to pinpoint figures. We interviewed hundreds of women and the testimonies revealed massive acts of rape. But I can say that the numbers run into thousands," In a March 2004 statement, the task force said, "the UN Children's Fund's survey in Tawila (Darfur) confirms a host of disturbing findings including a very large number of rape cases targeting 41 school girls and teachers, gang rape of minors by up to 14 men."

- Four million people (nearly 80%) of the southern Sudanese population has been forced to flee their home at one time or another.

-Slave raids are occurring on a regular basis in parts of the South.

-More than 1.7 million people now face food shortages in Sudan.

These are the people Bush isn't going to war for. These are the people that are dying everyday because apparently Bush's ideas of freedom don't extend into Africa. These are the goverments Bush is leaving in power.
Now that you know that do you still have faith in him?

You're right, no one is perfect. But that is hardly a convincing defence for why Bush has stood by while thousands of people are being murderd.
I can not undersand why Bush says we, as a nation, are not going to stand for tyranical goverments are compleatly ignores one.

Slave raids are just one example of the the atrocious human right violations that are going on in Sudan. But Bush has yet to wage a war aginast the Janjaweed goverment. As Bush said:
"America will not pretend that jailed dissidents prefer their chains, or that women welcome humiliation and servitude, or that any human being aspires to live at the mercy of bullies."

In that context, slavery has everything to do with Bush.
