The huge Summer Aquarian full moon party at Green Bay was everything that I wanted it to be. I did some computer shopping with the boy and his friend on Saturday, and then Mer and I headed up to the north of Taiwan. There were three huge stages on the beach and the weather cleared up after a few days of rain. Mer and I split a pill and some other things.
It was an amazing, amazing night. I saw old friends, old flings, and made new connections. Boy and his Swedish gang stayed in Taipei to watch the game. It was really nice to have the time with Mer, especially since she is leaving soon. We had a great time singing and dancing on the beach. Before going down to the party, we hung out with some new peeps in the hotel. We caught some of the game and had an "interesting" experience.
It's so strange...just when you get into a relationship, so many potential connections come up. Why is that always the case? It's ok though...I am very happy with my situation right now...so no complaints from my front. Just before the sunrise, Mer and I relaxed on the sand dunes and watched the crowds on the beach. Some people were dancing in the ocean, as the first golden rays crept across the water. Taiwan is truly amazing. At this point I was just coming off of the X and everything was just perfect. The sunrise, the last techno beats in the background and the soft sand in between my fingers.
Mer and I slept on the sand for a bit. A bunch of our friends who we hung out with the night before were on the beach too. We eventually made our way back to the hotel. We slept on this random couch, until we heard the hotel workers laughing at us. We got onto a random tour bus...they were so excited to have new Canadian friends on their bus! We weren't that entertaining since we were so exhausted. We got dropped off at Danshui and it took us way too long to get back home. I had a nice surprise in my bed when I got back home, and I spent the rest of the day resting. The Iran/Mexico game was disappointing...but what can you do. I am finally over my week long cold, and I really hope that we can find some good roommates this week.
