Tiesto

I am so sad Tiesto's show is over. It was such an amazing show...I can't even put it into words. The crazy thing is that I almost got to meet Tiesto with the guys from Taiwannights.com. Rob was interviewing Tiesto and I had the only camera. So, we were waiting backstage, when the security guard comes out and tells us that only two people can go in. So, of course Rob and the director got to go in. But, I was still super excited, because Rob took my camera with him and took some awesome pics of Tiesto!!!

There were so many people there...probably more than 10,000. Michelle, who finally made it from Hong Kong, the girls and I were all super high on X. I just remember walking up the stairs with Mikey and looking down at the crowd. From the top, the crowd looked like one pulsating wave. I can't even describe how insane it was walking through the crowds to the front of the stage. Tiesto is so fucking amazing. I made some random friends with a lot of Taiwanese people. I was holding this guys hand for the longest time...hahah...and I shared a girl's soother when my jaw was acting up...Taiwanese people are so cute!

The only shitty thing was that the end was really abrupt...Tiesto came to the front, shook hands with a bunch of people and then the lights came on. The Taiwanese people are so law-abiding that they just started to leave..without even pushing for an encore. I was like "what the hell is this. He can't just end like this." Then, trying to get into a cab was another story. It took us a good hour to get to COR. I totally wasn't feeling COR and let me tell you that there is such a thing as drinking too much water. Poor Cabby! I was still buzzing at COR, but I was really feeling sad...other music and clubs can not make you happy after dancing to the number one DJ in the world.

Sunday was a slow, but fun day. We took Michie to Grandma Nitty's, Taipei 101, and Chiang-Kai-Shek. On Monday, I gave my elementary kids a small gift for doing such an awesome job for the PTA meeting. I am really happy with their progress. Michie and I headed to Xiemen, and Shilin last night, and I am super exhausted today. I want to take a nap before the business class, so I can hit up BED for their Funk Night tonight. I am so excited to see Bre this Thursday. We might hit up Hualian on Saturday and then go to the huge Hip Hop party at the World Trade Centre on Saturday night. My boy from Kenting emailed me...hmm...don't really know how to feel about that one.

Alright, time to write my weekly reports, and then do a cooking class with my Kindys!!
