Ghetto house, no more!

I finally have a bed...thanks to my ever so generous friend Gilly! She was also nice enough to give us her old couches and coffee table, plus a whole bunch of other goodies! I loves Gilly!! Last night, the girls and I hung out in our new living room. We smoked, listened to music and laughed. I am turning into quite a pot, or should I say hash head...haha, but I love our talks and I could not ask for cooler roommates. We have such an awsome time together!
It was another party weekend. Even when I try to do something different, we somehow end up at the clubs. On Friday, we went to Naomi's house party, but then we realized that Mer had left our keys in the house. We had to go back to the house and get a locksmith to come. He charged us 1000 NT (30 US) which is crazy...but it was 11:30 pm and he knew we had no other choice! Mer was pretty upset, but we ended up going to the club in the Hyatt Hotel. Hahah the club was filled with older businessmen so we headed to Plush. Last time I went to Plush, Amy and I met the club owner and he let us in as V.I.P, so this time, I was like "Junior Han told us to come back whenever we wanted," and they let us in for free...haha I wonder how many times I can pull off that card!
On Saturday night, we headed over to Eden, met up with our Eastern European model friend Martha, and went to Room 18. Marta's friend, who is a singer who grew up in Vancouver, and his producer got us in for free. They bought us drinks, we smoked up outside and had a good time dancing! It's crazy what you get away with when you have the right connections in Taiwan. We drove back to Eden in their Mercedes and Camero. It was a fun night, esp for Mer who got friendly with a Taiwanese guy and girl..hahah!!
We came back at 6 am and had an awkward encounter with our security guard....I don't know what he was doing at our apartment at 6 am on Sunday morning. After picking up some more stuff at Gilly's, Mer and I explored around Zhongshan and met up with Lexy before dinner.
The boy scene is kind of crapy in Taipei. Foreign boys have crazy egos, because all the asian chicks love them and the Taiwanese boys are usually scared of us. I did meet a really cool Taiwanese guy at the gym the other day. He grew up in Texas and is leaving for Australia at the end of this year. We'll see what happens. I also met this engineer from Montreal at Room 18, but there is no way in hell I will do long distance, esp right now! Whatever, it's really awesome being single...I get to party with my girls and not have to worry about managing my time for a significant other. However, it would be nice to meet some chill boys to party with! Let's see what April brings!
Work is going well. We have report cards this week and parent teacher meetings next week. I have three new jobs. I am teaching a group of businessmen and businesswomen two times a week, working at Ryan's school once a week, and tutoring the rest of the time. It's busy, but good. I might also have an editing job with this magazine...I don't know if their schedule will work with mine though.
We have a holiday in the middle of this week, which makes me so happy! There is a huge hip hop party on Tuesday night. Kenting is this weekend. Michelle is coming over next weekend for Tiesto, and then Bre is here for two weeks!!! April is going to be awesome!
