it seems like computer malfunction is rampant lately, i'm glad you got yours fixed.

props to iver and you for successful friend projecting and being able to explore. i have also been thinking about chicago as an option. i second beej's emotion that i would like to see these boots.

oh, i don't know if you are still thinking about coming this weekend? because i am going home from thurs-sat. it wasn't possible last weekend because i had a lot of midterms to prepare for.

chicago is definitely interesting, and i must say, so are my boots. so we should discuss both of these things IN PERSON when we're both in ames this weekend. i haven't figured out yet if i'm going home thursday or friday, but i'll be there through sunday morning. i think i will give you a ring tomorrow...

Hey Alissa, you're good at writing and it sorta makes me want to talk to you in person because I haven't done that since Annika's open house, unless you count when I got back from colorado and was really tired and baked at stomping grounds, but I don't count that because at that point my mind had ceased to function.

In any case, I doubt we'll actually talk in person any time in the near future because I don't really see you being able to or wanting to take a trip to Iowa city under a Northwestern course load, and I have no way to transport myself to Chicago for less than $90, which I am not willing to spend.

So it looks like we are at an impasse. Wat du U suggjest Wii du??

hows about we meet up in iowa city on sunday when i'm dropping my sister back at iowa and going back to chicago?

either that, or we could cyber sometime. i hear it's a whole new way to achieve intimacy.
