i got an ipod, which i love, and a bass guitar pedal which is really cool. its got a built-in drum machine, and one beat is an awesome hardcore breakdown. its fun.

but.
i just got done with my first driving lesson. it sucked.
my instructor took me to rotterdam. i fucking hate rotterdam.
i'm really discouraged about driving now. i thought i was a good driver, but apparantly i'm not. i dont know. i know its a stupid thing to be upset about, but i'll feel better once i bitch about it.
the thing that bothered me the most was when i followed another car into a turning lane at an intersection:
instructor (slamming on brakes): "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! THAT'S EXTREMELY ILLEGAL!"
me: i'm pulling into a turning lane, the car in front of us did it and so did the car in front of that."
instructor: "you can't just cross the double yellow line like that. you definitely would have failed the road test."
it just seems like i'm the only one who has to follow basic rules about keeping everyone on the road safe, and that pisses me off. not just in driving, but in everyday life. when i follow rules because i have to, and other people get away with not following them, i get really pissed off. i know that's life, and its probably not right to be pissed about it, but i don't care. i'll call it a pet peeve.
the other thing was, fucking rotterdam has a stop sign every 5 feet. and i got quizzed about who has the right of way. every 5 feet. and i got it wrong. every 5 feet.
gahh whatever. i'm not gonna be stressed out about it anymore, cause it just seems retarded now. i like how bitching at my livejournal makes me feel so much better.
